In an apartment in a former abbey, we were asked to create a two bedroom student flat. On the ground floor we’ve added a small semi-transparent bookcase to create more harmony in the living room. The kitchen took on a more pronounced shape, following the sloping line of a wall in the living space.
In the large bedroom, we created an extra en-suite bathroom, making the apartment more functional for two individuals. We’ve kept as much original elements as possible, such as the pointed arch in the night hall.
