saartje & sean
The kitchen design for Saartje and Sean starts from a rigid grid in birch veneer finished with white edges. The wood is combined with other sober materials, such as carrara marble, white composite and white lined fiber cement board. By creating a calm canvas there was still room left to work with colourful accents.By picking the colour setting for the new lighting and furniture very carefully, some other details were added. The bench is executed in blue linoleum and a light yellow stripe brightens up a dark corner. A hidden niche in bright green makes all colours come together once more.
