The bright apartment of Charlotte and Ilja in Antwerp was renovated with a limited budget. A lot of elements could be preserved, but the kitchen had to be completely renovated.
It was a challenge to create a functional kitchen in such a small space. Charlotte and Ilja started designing on their own, but soon turned to a professional for help. Although it’s a very straightforward kitchen with simple materials, it doesn’t look simplistic. The colour combinations are chosen carefully and the overhead cabinets add some fun.
