How can we design a seating object that doesn’t take a fixed place in your interior? This question was the start of the collaboration with Charlotte Thomas. We wanted to create a bean bag that is flexible, yet doesn’t look like a shapeless cushion.
The design process started with making several models. The pattern of a roll of toilet paper inspired us to create a cushion with a diagonal fold. Thanks to this fold you can create a backrest when the bean bag leans towards a wall. For extra comfort, we added a tube shaped bolster.
